Delegations from Moscow Economic School and Alexander Pushkin School (Perm) are having their three-day visit in the Lyceum. It’s the second year that as a member of IB Schools Association of CIS countries Anania Shirakatsy Armenian National Lyceum has hosted students from member schools, who implement the required CAS (creativity, action, service) program along with Lyceum 1st year students. In frames of this program the students must do creative work, demonstrate physical activity and provide public service with joint efforts. In the words of Zaruhi Ghaltakhchyan, the high school head director, the aim of the international program is to show the students’ collaboration skills, the ability to achieve the same goal together. Students implementing CAS in the Lyceum are going to teach Russian, carry out playground repair work, make dolls and put on the stage a theatrical performance in the primary school.
And they’re going to organize a sports competition for the middle school students. Other activities implying creativity, action and service are intended as well.
Our students organized an introductory tour in the Lyceum for the delegation of about 15 members and talked about their daily life.
The guests also had a meeting with Ashot Alikhanyan, the head director of the Shirakatsy Lyceum.
