The passing week was special for the 2nd grade students as they had a meeting with their younger friends and did a cooperative work. Both the 1st and the 2nd graders had been waiting for that meeting impatiently. They were going to make geometric shapes and letters out of wire, thread, flour, pasta and plasticine.
The 2nd grade students helped and guided their younger friends. The students’ creativity pleasantly surprised all of us: the students made not only letters, but also objects beginning with those sound-letters.
Thus, the students realized that materials can be used for various purposes.
