The 3rd Graders Performed an Armenian Fairytale in English

8With the help of their English teacher Liana Davtyan and the artistic director Ruzanna Mkrtchyan group 334 students had prepared a colourful event in frames of their English classes to sum up the trans-disciplinary theme “How the world works”.

The event was based on the following concept: fairytales can have different nationalities, but they all reflect qualities and attitudes encouraged by the International Baccalaureate (IB).

5The 3rd graders mentioned that despite the different national origins, all the fairytales were the bearers of universal values. The students tried to show some of those values by the example of an Armenian fairytale. The rich and interesting performance, which was full of lively songs and dances, admired the parents and other guests.

The little students’ performance not only proved that they had understood and learnt the trans-disciplinary theme, but also showed their knowledge in English.
