There are wonderful memories about this fine excursion we would like to share.
When we entered the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, a hospitable woman approached and offered to accompany us. We all walked around the halls with great surprise and impatience. The first hall we wanted to see was called ”Breath”. We saw mappings of many khachkars (cross stones) there, which were created by the young people from”Tumo” Center with a special program. Contemporary paintings reflected with ancient spirit were exhibited. 1A very appropriate name was chosen for the hall, as there was really striking ”breath” there. After examining the wonderful hall we moved to the hall of creative works. At first we studied the ornaments of various countries – Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Egypt, China and others, and we understood that every country has its own unique symbolism. We watched a nice performance on the ornaments of Armenia and other countries, then we started drawing. We were suggested making postcards with Armenian ornaments. Now they remind of that wonderful day. We thanked our guide, who was answering all our questions with love and patience, after we’d finished the work. We also thanked our dear counselor-pedagogue, Iren Dallaqyan, for the wonderful excursion. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn more.
