The Lyceum 8th grade students had a meeting with the Preventive Cardiology Center sleep specialist Aida Matevosyan. The meeting, organized by the Biology Department, aimed at the discussion on new discoveries of mechanisms regulating human nervous system, sleep mechanism, dreams and a number of other issues.
The sleep specialist Aida Matevosyan greeted the Middle school students. She told that she’s also a graduate of the Lyceum and she’s very glad to see her more beautiful school. In her words, everybody should be concerned by the problems related to sleep, as sleep quality is the guarantee for health.
She presented numerous examples, showing how the decline in sleep quality affects the human body, and urging the students to follow the principles of healthy sleep.
The 8th graders were given useful advice on sleep regulation during the meeting.
