These days, Artur Artashesyan (11th grade) and Inga Grigoryan (2nd year of the Diploma Program), accompanied by computer science teacher Ashkhen Sargsyan, are participating in the "Have Your word" international conference dedicated to Safe Internet Day in Milan.

Out of the 16 topics covered at the Microsoft House conference in Milan, our students introduced the topic of online safety.

A working group was formed with the Italian youth who joined them to prepare and submit thematic posts for voting by online and offline participants.

The ideas presented in the brief speeches on the posters should have contained the problems existing on the Internet and the tools to solve them, which will lead to the sustainable development of the Internet, making it a more reliable and safer place for children and young people.

The event continued on February 4 at the famous Palazzo Lombardia Center in Milan; a number of celebrities in the field performed, such as Georgia Alberto from Google and Jacqueline Boucher from Microsoft. They voiced the problems on the Internet and the steps they are taking to address them.

"Our students became members of the European Council for Digital Good team; from now on, they will support their peers to use the Internet more effectively, not to become a prisoner of it, why not, also a victim," said the teacher Ashkhen Sargsyan.

"All this is not only inspiring but also binding because each of us must be involved in the development of stability and security of the online platform."
