"Shirakatsy Lyceum" Scientific-Educational Complex of Artsakh CJSC was founded in 2022, on July 29.
    After the disastrous 44-day Artsakh war, the idea of creating a new educational complex in wounded Artsakh seemed incredible to many, an impossible adventure, but not for the Lyceum students, who accepted the call with great enthusiasm and immediately set about establishing a new Lyceum in Artsakh. And everything started in 2021, when Artak Beglaryan, the former state minister of the Republic of Artsakh, who was on a familiarization visit to the Yerevan "Shirakatsy Lyceum", proposed to establish the Lyceum in Artsakh during a meeting with high school students.
 
    And as a result of the intra-Lyceum working discussions that started immediately, and the negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Artsakh that lasted for about 6 months, "Shirakatsy Lyceum" Scientific-Educational Complex of Artsakh was founded as a new and independent educational structure with its own National program, called to realize a true intellectual and the mission "Shirakatsy Lyceum" in order to create citizens.
 
   "Shirakatsy Lyceum" Scientific-Educational Complex of Artsakh was managed by an Executive body consisting of 5 people, 2 of which are the representatives of the Lyceum in Yerevan, represented by the founder Ashot Alikhanyan, Deputy Director of the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" Taguhi Sinanyan, 2 are the representatives of the Artsakh Republic Government, represented by the head of the economic department Susanna Abrahamyan and Deputy Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Artsakh Mikayel Hambardzumyan, and the Director of the Educational complex. Anahit Gharaghazaryan was the Director of "Shirakatsy Lyceum" Scientific-Educational Complex of Artsakh CJSC. 

    As of now, all the students of Artsakh Shirakatsy Lyceum continue their education in the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex.
