About High School
Teaching in the 11-12th grades at the Lyceum High School is organized by the National program with a wide choice of subjects in differentiated streams and/or the International Baccalaureate Diploma program in English.
Various extracurricular activities (concerts, meetings with famous people, courses, seminars, visits to various organizations for the purpose of professional orientation), volunteer work, activities of the student council are an integral part of the educational process at the High School.
In the National program of the High School, the requirements of the RA state and subject standards, as well as the National educational program of the Lyceum are applied, which provides a competitive education in accordance with modern requirements. The educational program is constantly improved with the participation of the staff of the Seminary and the students themselves, which is evidenced by subject news, student practice, new subjects offered, etc.
The IB Diploma Program, delivered in a Lyceum setting, is a complex and demanding academic program that condenses and summarizes the student's journey with the IB programs. Diploma Program offers an internationally accepted education that is recognized by many universities around the world. The extended essay, theory of knowledge and CAS at the heart of the Diploma Program best prepares students for real life and a successful continuation of their studies.

The educational process of a high school student is organized according to his needs and preferences. Students have the right to choose three advanced subjects in the 11th grade and two in the 12th grade within the number of hours set by the curriculum.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) is intended for both Armenian and foreign students who have completed the 10th grade. Education at IBDP is conducted in English.

Digital tour at High School of Shirakatsy Lyceum
The Shirakatsy Parliament (ShiP) was created as a project of one of the Lyceum students, and in 2023 the Shirakatsy Parliament started its 12th session.
The purpose of ShiP is to enable learners to voice their opinions, raise issues and try to find solutions to them. Students participate in relevant committees within the framework of the parliament, focus on a specific field, study the problems of the given field and propose solutions. The commissions, together with the Students' Council, implement the proposed solutions.

The student council has a precise goal. implement such projects that will make students' daily life more diverse and meaningful. The student council also creates and maintains a link between the students and the administration, which enables them to raise problems in the community and try to solve them together.
Each academic year, a new Student Council is elected through impartial voting. The staff consists of 6 members: 2 co-chairs - a girl and a boy, coordinators of extracurricular associations, human resources, public relations and media, as well as external relations.
