Round Square

About the Organization

"Round Square" (RS) is an international network of innovative schools that connects over 250 schools across six continents in more than 50 countries. These schools aim to cultivate high moral and civic values in their students.

In 2010, Shirakatsy Lyceum became the first in the region to become a full member of the World Association of "Round Square" International Schools. Prestigious membership of the "Round Square" International Network provides access to annual conferences, exchange programs and various events.

"Round Square" was created in 1966 by German philosopher Kurt Hahn, who is also one of the co-founders of the International Baccalaureate. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the majority of "Round Square" member schools are also International Baccalaureate schools.

RS ideology is based on the Discovery Framework, which discovers students' abilities, skills and human qualities.

RS aims to inspire and discover students' achievements and abilities in practical, cross-cultural and collaborative arenas.

Collaborative initiatives within the framework of "Round Square" are implemented at the local, regional and international level in the following directions:
•   Students’ exchange programs,
