About Diploma Programme

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is an international high school education program for students aged 16-19. The mission of the International Baccalaureate is to produce inquisitive, knowledgeable and caring young people who, through intercultural understanding and respect, help create a better and more peaceful world. The purpose of the program is to nurture and educate global citizens, fostering comprehensive development and bright personalities who embody both national and global values, guiding them towards promoting students' personal, professional, and academic advancement and progress.

Teaching approaches and applied technologies serve as the means to achieve this goal, aiming to develop competitive students who are prepared to confront the challenges of their time. More than 2,000 leading universities worldwide prioritize graduates of the Diploma Programme, recognizing and accepting the program's certificate, thus enabling students to enter university without the need for additional entrance exams.

Educational Program

The IB educational program offers in-depth research-based programs and support materials that help develop the characteristics of the learner profile and fulfill the IB mission, thereby preparing the IB student to be a 21st century global citizen ready to meet challenges.

    Extended Essay

    The Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) program aims to help students develop, express and develop their identity in accordance with the principles of the International Baccalaureate mission and the learner profile. CAS complements a challenging academic program, making it more holistic by motivating students to active action, collaboration, and service.

    It promotes creative thinking and emphasizes the importance of acting as a full member of society by combining the study of academic subjects with various processes.

    Creativity, Activity, Service

    The Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) program aims to help students develop, express and develop their identity in accordance with the principles of the International Baccalaureate mission and the learner profile.     Theory of Knowledge

    Theory of Knowledge (TOK) develops a coherent approach to learning that integrates academic disciplines. In this critical thinking course, students explore the nature of knowledge and its various manifestations in other disciplines.

  • Educational Program

    Students of the Diploma Programme must choose one subject from five subject groups, the study of which will give them in-depth knowledge and concepts in the fields of "language and literature", "individual and society", "science" and "mathematics".

    The subjects of the DP are taught at two levels: basic and advanced. Each student must study a minimum of three and a maximum of four subjects with advanced study, and the remaining subjects at the foundation level.

    All academic subjects of the DP, regardless of whether they are taught at the foundation or advanced level, are an integral part of the program.

Admission

Education at IBDP is conducted in English. Graduates of the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate can receive an RA state certificate along with the IBDP diploma.

Admission to the Diploma Programme is carried out in two stages: in April and June. RA citizens can participate in the admission process only during the April round.
Applicants undergo entrance exams in mathematics and English, and also participate in subject interviews.
