• National armenian poetess Silva Kaputikyan visits the Lyceum. Students recite the works of the poetess and perform 10 songs based on them. The gifted teacher of Armenian language and literature, Manana Oshkhereli, says a characteristic touching word about the poetess.
• National armenian poetess Silva Kaputikyan was the first to be awarded the medal "For impeccable services" of the Lyceum.
• On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Lyceum, director Ashot Alikhanyan, deputy director Arpine Papazyan and head of the Russian language department Marina Sheinina are awarded with a gold commemorative medal of the RA Ministry of Education and Culture.

Based on the materials collected in the Armenian language and literature department, the "Collection of teaching materials for the 5th-10th grades of the public school" has been published. One of the authors is Tamar Aleksanyan, the head of the Armenian language and literature department ("Zangak-97").
