  • April
    • April 4 - An event dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the TV program "Turn on the 13th Channel" by the head of the theater studio Garik Ghazaryan and the presentation of the book "Turn on the 13th Channel" by G. Ghazaryan takes place in the Lyceum.
    • The delegation led by director Ashot Alikhanyan is participating in the 3rd conference of the CIS countries, the International Baccalaureate Association in Perm.
  • May
    • 2001 graduate Anahit Gogyan receives a special award from the President of RA for his valuable studies in the field of Physics.
    • The 4th Republican Open Olympiads are organized and held in the Lyceum for middle school students.
    • Boston Armenian schoolchildren are hosted at the Lyceum for the third time.
  • June

    As part of their visit to Armenia, a group of students from the Association of World United Colleges are hosted at the Lyceum.

  • July
    • In 2008, graduate Varduhi Yeghiazaryan (YSU) was recognized as the winner in the "Best Student of the Year" category of the annual presidential contest in the field of IT.
    • Anna Yeghiazaryan and Koryun Achoyan became the winners in the "Best Student of the Year" category in the annual presidential contest in the field of IT.
    • July 10-17 in the Pan-Armenian History Olympiad, Vahan Kostanyan, Gevorg Asryan, Hmayak Baghramyan win diplomas and honors (led by history teacher Armine Narimanyan).
  • September
    • Sumer Singh, director of the South Asia & Gulf Region of the Round Square International School Association, is making an inspection visit to Shirakatsy Lyceum.
  • October
    • October 10-19 the Lyceum delegation, represented by the director Ashot Alikhanyan, the president of the parent council Marilu Papazyan and 2 students Zaruhi Gabrielyan and Koryun Achoya, is going to Mayo College and Mayo Girl's College Ajmer in Ajmer, India, to participate in the international "Round Square-2009" conference (RSIC-2009), where the Lyceum is officially recognized as a member school of "Round Square" South Asia & Gulf Region and gets the right to participate in the activities of the RS Association.
    • In order to develop francophone in the Lyceum, exchanges are taking place between Lyon and Yerevan and a cooperation program is being developed. The Armenian-French Association of the Rhône-Alpes (France) region (APECLE) donates computers and French textbooks to the Lyceum.
    • October 27 - The Republican children's and youth theater festival "Pomegranate Seed" starts at the Lyceum, the theater studio performs two novels by M. Zoshchenko, "Crisis Aristocrat".
  • November
    • Deputy Director Ira Sahakyan and student Robert Yeghikyan participate in the summary of the results of the "Green Planet-2009" international children's environmental forum in Moscow. Robert Yeghikyan, Eva Amalyan, Alvard Vardanyan and Lucy Hovakimyan became laureates of the forum.
