- As part of the Independence Day activities, high school students and a group of teachers decide to understand and overcome the difficulties of building an independent homeland together by conquering the height of Mount Armaghan.
- The students of the 2nd geography group of the Diploma Program carry out field research work. The goal was to study the positive and negative impact of tourism on the environment and the socio-economic situation of the community of Tsaghkadzor city, developing students' research, communication and collaborative skills.

- According to the principles of awarding the Order of "King Constantine II" of the World Association of "Round Square International Schools" and the Board of Directors on 27.05.2021. decision to award the medal in the 2020-2021 school year to Elen Tadevosyan (group 654) of the seminary middle school, for showing exceptional involvement and dedication in matters of leadership, social activism and service to the public in collecting plastic corks and providing wheelchairs.
- Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan visits the Lyceum, meets with high school students, answers questions, inspires and cheers, saying: "Remember, nothing is impossible." The Director of the educational complex, Ashot Alikhanyan, awards Artak Beglaryan with the "For Impeccable Services" medal of the Shirakatsy Lyceum. - Lyceum’s High school students; Adilkhanyan Kama, Petrosyan Boris, Sheroyan Magdalena, Muradyan Ameli, Grigoryan Syuzanna participate in the contest-game of the Moscow School of Economics and take second place.
- The training course for teachers subject to mandatory certification of public schools is starting at the Lyceum. The best specialists of the Lyceum, who are also experienced in adult education, are included in the training process.
- "Thrive Armenia" Foundation organizes an amateur tennis charity tournament in the Tennis Club of Shirakatsy Lyceum, from which all the proceeds are provided as scholarships to students from Artsakh.

- With the cooperation of the Lyceum library and the middle school pedagogical service, the 5th graders participate in the bookmark exchange initiative of the International Association of School Librarianship. The initiative entitled "Fairy Tales and National Tales" is implemented within the framework of the International Month of School Libraries, giving each student the opportunity to exchange a bookmark he/she made with a student from the same year abroad. - Since 2004, October 7 is celebrated as Librarian's Day in Armenia. The republican competition under the title "Best Library" is summarized, and the library of Shirakatsy Lyceum is recognized as the winner in the "Special Prize" category (librarian: Ruzanna Yeghikyan, coordinator of research works: Ani Mkrtumyan).

- During the autumn holidays, the student parliament works in the hall of the Lyceum and discusses other issues that require an urgent solution.
- On the road from Yerevan to Aparan, in the vicinity of the Park of Letters and the Holy Cross, the "Eternal Garden" was built in honor of science, culture, sports, as well as Armenians who gave their lives to their homeland during the wars. - The government of Artsakh applies to the Shirakatsy Lyceum to open a Shirakatsy Lyceum in the capital Stepanakert. By the decision of the Lyceum Directorate, the Shirakatsy Lyceum will operate from September next year with a unique educational program and completely free of charge.

- In the Primary school, a chess tournament of the fourth order is held (referees Nelly Pilosyan and Gevorg Muradyan).
- The meeting of the board of the Union of Leading Technologies Enterprises (#ATZM), of which Shirakatsy Lyceum is a full member, is held at the Lyceum at the invitation of Director Ashot Alikhanyan.
- In front of the entrance to the second building of the Lyceum, a memorial fountain is opened, dedicated to the Lyceum students who died in the Artsakh war: Aren Mehrabyan, Levon Khurshudyan, Edgar Tashchyan, Tigran Shashikyan. The author of the idea to install a fountain-monument is the 12th grade student Inga Ghahramanyan. At the same time, the relatives of the heroic boys planted two oak trees in front of the spring, which will be watered with the water of the monument spring.
- Artak Arzumanyan is the first officially admitted student in Shirakatsy Lyceum in 1990. We learn this from his letter written to the General Director of the Lyceum, Ashot Alikhanyan . "Since I had to leave Armenia, and the first two exams took longer than planned, I asked that the last exam (interview) be held with me before my departure, which Mr. Alikhanyan agreed to. The interview took place in his private room, which was also attended by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Yuri Sargsyan (if you remember, at that time, the Lyceum was called a college attached to the Polytechnic). In the end, I, as the first officially admitted student, received a notebook and a box of pens from Ashot Alikhanyan, which I keep until now."
