January
- The Lyceum delegation, Director Ashot Alikhanyan, English teacher Anna Aghasyan and first Deputy Director Ashkhen Tovmasyan are participating in the Round Square school principals' conference (RS Head's Symposium, London).
- Rika Onodera, the second secretary of the Embassy of Japan, visits the Lyceum, learns about the daily life of the Lyceum, meets with students, and talks about Japanese culture and history.
- Constantine II, co-founder of "Round Square" organization, chairman of the board, the last king of Greece, passed away in Athens at the age of 82.
- In the Lyceum, a day of summary and reflection is held under the theme "Learning by doing". Students present the knowledge and skills acquired in Semester 1 by providing a service to their junior or senior classmates.
- The Chess Club is commencing with 29 participants in the Lyceum. Its objective is to cultivate the sport of chess, fostering a conducive environment and establishing new traditions within the Lyceum community. The club welcomes students, staff, and parents alike. Spearheaded by chess instructors Nelly Pilosyan and Vanik Manukyan, with Russian language teacher Marina Kocharyan concurrently defending a dissertation on Russian language teaching methodology at Valery Brusov State University, focusing on "The utilization of game technology in the teaching process".
- A Chess club is launched in the Lyceum, the goal of which is to create and preserve a chess environment and new traditions. The club is intended for Lyceum students, as well as Lyceum staff and the parent community. It will be held on the last Saturdays of every month, the referees are Nelly Pilosyan, Vanik Manukyan.
- In the literature class, 12th graders celebrate Paruyr Sevak's birthday by hosting Amalya Vardanyan, the grandmother of their teacher for the day, Davit Ananyan, who shares their love for literature and admiration for Sevak.
- The 31st anniversary of the creation of the Armenian Army is solemnly celebrated in the Lyceum.
- The 2nd intramural podcast is happening online, hosted by eight High School and Middle School students. 17 Lyceum students participate in the meeting.

- "Luys" child development center begins its activities. The center's activities include individual and/or group lessons with children, preparation for school, adaptive physical education courses, services of a special pedagogue, speech therapist and psychologist.
- As part of the "Zoom around the World with Round Square" initiative, the Lyceum delegation (senior school students Mariam Voskanyan /F-24/, Lucy Khtrlarian /1122/, Narek Galstyan /DP1/, Arpi Badalyan /DP1/, Maria Nahapetyan/853/, Davit Sandoyan /DP1/ and the RS Representative Ilona Hevasapyan) participates in the RS online meeting organized by the Calgary French and International School in Canada. Topic: "Diversity, Equity and Conclusion Communtees. Let's chat."
- As part of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, the online meeting RS Postcard from Shirakatsy Lyceum, Armenia is taking place, which is attended by 110 people from 23 RS schools in 8 countries (Colombia, India, Pakistan). , South Africa, Switzerland, UK and USA). Topic: "My childhood heroes". The meeting is conducted by 16 students of the High School and Middle Schools of the Lyceum.
- Once again the Lyceum hosts Artak Beglaryan, adviser to the Minister of State of Artsakh. "Thank you for being next to the Artsakh Lyceum. We have believed together and we have taken this step together, and I am sure that with faith we will have much greater success both in the development and strengthening of the Lyceum in Artsakh, in raising the quality of education in Artsakh as quickly as possible, and in guaranteeing the Armenian future of Artsakh." - says Mr. Beglaryan during the meeting with Lyceum students.
- As part of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, RS Postcard from Inventure Academy, India online meeting, in which participate Middle School students Erik Karapetyan /1031/, Arsen Poghosyan /854/, Anna Nikiforova /851/, Armine Baghdasaryan /851/, Astghik Arajyan /947/, Hripsime Shamirzayan /851/ and Middle School psychologist Mariam Vardanyan.
- As part of the English-Physical culture interdisciplinary project, the 5th grade students of the Lyceum visit the N143 primary school named after Movses Khorenatsi and present the 7th graders with a course on physical activity in English.
- 12th graders celebrate Hrant Matevosyan's birthday in the literature class. Their guest is the writer's son, director Davit Matevosyan.
- A basketball match is taking place in the gymnasium of the Lyceum with the participation of QSI International School and Lyceum teams. The game ends with the victory of the Lyceum team: 59:21.
- In all structures of the Lyceum, the birthday of Hovhannes Tumanyan is celebrated with great pomp and a book party is organized.
- As part of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, the RS Postcard from First Step School of Arts and Science, Pakistan online meeting is taking place, in which Middle School students Arsen Poghosyan /854/, Elen Yesayan /1034/, Mari Hakobyan / 1032/, Erik Khanoyan / 943/ participated.
- On the initiative of the Department of Armenian Language and Literature (head: Ani Makinyan, Ph.D. in Banas), the Native Language Day under the title "Song and Poem" is celebrated with great pomp in the ceremony hall. Author and organizer of the script, Arpine Khechikyan, a teacher of Armenian language and literature.
- A football match is taking place in the "Grand Sport" complex with the participation of the СIS international school and the Lyceum team. The students of the Lyceum win with a score of 4:6. Anahit Sinanyan, Artashes Chalabyan, Mher Baghumyan, students of the Diploma program of the Lyceum at MIRAS International School in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, accompanied by their teacher Christine Sahakyan, participate in the United Nations (MUN) student conference.

- Within the framework of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, the online meeting RS Postcard from Aiglon College, Switzerland takes place, in which the students of High School, Narek Galstyan /DP1/, Polina Tonoyan /DP1/, Mary Avetisyan /DP1/, Mane Avagyan /DP1/, Artashes Chalabyan /DP1/, Maria Oganezova /group 1125/ and RS representative Ilona Hovasapyan participate in it.
- The Lyceum hosts #JICA representatives Hitomi Kotaka and Furakawa Masayuki, as well as Konstantinos Tsereteli and Ruzan Khojoyan. During the meeting, possible ways and options of cooperation are discussed.
- An online workshop is taking place for RS member schools in South Asia and the Gulf region (RS Virtual Forum for schools in the SA&G Region), in which Ilona Hovasapyan, RS Representative of the Lyceum, and Ani Yeghiazaryan, Public Relations Officer, participate. The program includes the sharing of experiences and findings on topics related to marketing and communication.
- Shirakatsy Lyceum is participating once again in CNN's #MYFREEDOMDAY project to address the blockade of Artsakh and the widespread indifference and its consequences. Represented by students of the Diploma Program, the Lyceum has been actively engaged in the project for six years, presenting the topic of freedom from various perspectives and for different age groups, while also offering solutions. The project is spearheaded by Diploma Program student Manushak Baghdasaryan, alongside students from the Artsakh Lyceum, with the cooperation of student council co-chairs Mairam Harutyunyan and Levon Mejlumyan.
- On the initiative of the Department of Mathematics (Head of the Department, Lida Baklachyan), the Lyceum celebrates the day of the number P.
- A panel discussion on the right to education in crisis situations takes place with the participation of international and local stakeholders. Taguhi Sinanyan, the first deputy director of the Lyceum, talks about problems and challenges in the context of formal education.
- Eduard Ohanyan, the vice president of the RA Handball Federation, Harutyun Melkonyan, the head of the Sports Department of the Armenian National Football League, the athletes of the Davtashen Children's and Youth Sports School, under the leadership of coach Regina Mardanyan, are being hosted at the Lyceum. Together with the RA Handball Federation, the students of the Lyceum participate in the interclass relay, watch the exhibition game of professional athletes. Participating groups receive certificates and handball balls from the Federation.
- The Chess Lyceum team, comprising Ani Avetisyan's Group 855, Garik Avanesyan's Group 761, Vram Sargisyan's Group 674, and Nane Arakelyan's Group 586, participated in the 17th Olympiad of RA Schoolchildren and secured 4th place.
- Students of the first year of the Diploma Program visit the Byureghavan composting station and the Abovyan mushroom growing greenhouse as part of the "Geography" subject.
- The Round Square World Association provides an opportunity to develop German language skills for students studying German as a foreign language. Students aged 14-18 meet online as part of the "German Language Lab" initiative. the meeting was organized by the students of the Klosterschule Roßleben school in Germany. Anush Harutyunyan /group A25/ and Erik Karapetyan /group 1031/ participate from the Lyceum.

- The first introductory meeting of the new program "Heroes of RS Discovery" is taking place at the University of Oxford in Great Britain, which is intended for representatives of RS, Kindergarten and Primary school professionals. Primary school English teacher Arpine Ketikyan is participating in the meeting.
- Tigran Khudaverdyan, an alumnus of the Lyceum, who currently serves as the director of the YANDEX organization and acts as a trustee of the Lyceum's innovative center, is visiting the Lyceum.
- "Axiomia Smart Community" is organizing an intellectual game competition for employees at the Lyceum. Seven randomly generated groups have been formed, providing an excellent platform for engaging gameplay and highlighting the library's robust potential. Additionally, games will be organized for students.
- As part of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, the RS Postcard from The Hyderabad Public School, India online meeting is held, in which participate the students of High School Artashes Chalabyan /DP1/, Varvara Barseghyan /group 1121/ and Psychologist Mariam Vardanyan.
- The guest of the Lyceum is the world-famous singer, soprano, RA folk artist Hasmik Papyan. The Founding Director of the Educational Complex, Ashot Alikhanyan, reads the decision of the board of directors and presents the famous singer, patriotic Armenian with the medal of the Lyceum "For impeccable services".
- Shirakatsy Lyceum made an agreement with the Izmirlyan Charity Foundation, wherein two students hailing from the border communities of Syunik and Gegharkunik will be granted scholarships by the Foundation to pursue their studies at the Shirakatsy Lyceum High School. These selected students will have accommodation provided in the Lyceum's dormitory.
- As part of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, the RS Postcard from Cate School, USA online meeting is held, in which participate students of Middle School and High School Gevorg Vahramyan /DP1/, Erik Karapetyan /1031/, Serin Sipan / 1031/ and social studies teacher Gayane Vardanyan.
- Putting a focus on direct engagement and interaction with alumni, the Lyceum launches and hosts a charity concert themed "The Seminary: Our Planet."
- Ahead of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Day, the Lyceum hosts Tehmine Martoyan, candidate of historical sciences, senior researcher of the "Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute". The subject of the lecture: the deliberate extermination of the Armenian and Greek population of Smyrna in 1922.
- The annual Open Olympiad is commencing, welcoming over 3,000 participants (approximately 5,500 students) from grades 4 to 8 from Armenia and Artsakh. Participants have the option to choose from various subjects for the competition.
- In the 22nd annual science Olympiad of the Association of American Armenian Engineers and Scientists "AESA", the students of the Lyceum (Narek Galstyan, Arpi Badalyan - physics, Polina Tonoyan, Areg Manukyan - biology, Karen Kocharyan, Samvel Mkhitaryan, Neha Matthew Abel - chemistry) have excellent results. "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex is recognized as the best school of the year.
- The delegation of the Lyceum, Director Ashot Alikhanyan, Deputy Directors Taguhi Sinanya, Ashot Davtyan and Tatevik Nalbandyan, is going on a working visit to Tashkent International School in Uzbekistan to participate in the annual conference of the Association of IB Schools of the CIS countries.
- High school students Lilit Hovhannes (11th grade), Hripsime Shamirzayan (8th grade), Mary Antonyan (6th grade) receive an award at the final stage of the "French Rooster" competition (French teachers: Nelly Khudoyan and Bella Darbinyan).

- The 10th graders of the Lyceum present their individual projects, and the 9th graders present their community projects under solemn conditions.

- As part of the "Zoom Postcard around the World with Round Square" initiative, the RS Postcard from Ashbury College, Canada online meeting is held, in which the following students of Middle School participate: Astghik Arajyan /947/, Ella Arakelyan /858/, Arsen Poghosyan /854/ , Tatev Zargaryan / 947/, Hakob Gharibyan / 858/, Karen Vardumyan /1031/ and Ani Yeghiazaryan, public relations officer of the Lyceum.
- Meetings with graduates, which have become a tradition in the Lyceum still continues. This time, the students' guest is Grigor Tukharyan, a Lyceum student, who tells his younger friends about studying abroad and his professional successes.
- The students of the 11th, 12th grades, as well as the 10th grade natural science groups with advanced biology education, are invited by environmentalist, ecology teacher Tamar Galstyan, who presents and familiarizes them with the plants common in Armenia, their classification and naming significance. Tamar Galstyan donates her book about flora "Plants of Armenia" to the library of the Lyceum.
- In the national stage of Olympiads in various subjects, Lyceum students record small and big victories. - 4th graders of the Primary school present their research work on the theme "The planet is our common home" in solemn conditions.
- Scientist, professor of physiology and pharmacology, Narine Sarvazyan, with her scientific group, presents an exclusive class-meeting for the students of advanced and Diploma Programs of natural sciences. The professor presents the modern methods of physiology, experimental studies are carried out, then the lesson reflection and results are summarized with a quiz.
- High School students Gevorg Vahramyan /DP1/ and Artyom Tovmasyan /DP1/ participate for the third time in the RS workshop (RS Spanish Lab), which was organized by the following schools in Spain: Aleph School, topic: "Culture and Tradition", SEK International School Ciudad del Campo, theme: "Travel and Tourism", Gimnasio Campestre in Colombia School, theme: "Where you live".
- The traditional annual dance festival is held in the Lyceum with the participation of 5-6 grade students.
- On May 20, the team consisting of Middle School and High School students is participating in the athletics competition at the QSI International School. The team has many victories. The Lyceum team of 38 participants returns with 54 medals: 14 gold, 25 silver, 15 bronze. High School girls' and Middle School boys' teams take the first honorable position and win 2 cups.
- The traditional "Shirakatsy Festival" is held in the Lyceum with a new format and new solutions. The structures, departments, students of Primary, Middle and High schools present the results of the research and project work carried out during the academic year under the heading "We".
- Ekaterina Nikonorova, trainer and consultant of the Ministry of Education and Culture, is hosted at the Lyceum and conducts a seminar on "Emotional Intelligence" for representatives of pedagogical leadership.

- The students of Shirakatsy Lyceum, Shahoyan Ani (11th grade), Richard Degeryan, Boyajyan Gaya, Yesayan Eva (7th grade), Sophie Nikoghosyan, Vivien Movsisyan, Eva Melksetyan (5th grade) are participating in the Universe Art international competition festival in the painting category.Students' works are exhibited in the Union of Artists of the Republic of Armenia. Degeryan Richard, Meliksetyan Eva, Shahoyan Ani became the 1st class laureates in the drawing category, and Boyajyan Gaya, Esayan Eva, Nikoghosyan Sofi, Movsisyan Vivien (teacher Ani Stepanyan) became the 2nd class laureates. The 11th-grade student, Shahoyan Ani, receives a special award: a camp-retreat at the creative house of composers "Dilijan" (teacher Isabella Manukyan).

- The pedagogical and service staff of the Lyceum are staying at Aghveran Park Resort.
- Ashot Alikhanyan, director of the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex, sends a congratulatory message on the occasion of the birthday of Artak Beglaryan, a friend of the Lyceum and an honorary Lyceum student.
- Certificates of appreciation are presented to the 30th graduates of the Lyceum in the ceremony hall.
- The founding director of the Lyceum, Ashot Alikhanyan, and the Deputy Director of International Affairs, Tatevik Nalbandyan, participate in the opening of the exhibition "The Art and Beauty of NINGYO Japanese Ladies" organized by The Japan Foundation in Armenia.
- In the 3rd Olympiad in informatics for European girls, Suzanna Grigoryan of the Lyceum receives a bronze medal.
- Ashot Alikhanyan, Founding Director of the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex, member of the UATE board, also participates in the press conference held in the press hall of "Armenpress". He notes that the program of the "Armat" engineering laboratory is one of the successful ones and should definitely be expanded and developed.

- The administration of the Lyceum met with the leadership of Kuwait National College and the RA Ambassador to Kuwait, during which they signed a document extending indefinitely the Memorandum of Cooperation and Friendship established in 2017. The meeting also included discussions on further cooperation and future steps.
- The Lyceum hosts the ambassador of Japan to Armenia. A tour of the Lyceum's buildings and a short discussion on future cooperation are organized.
- EBSCO Regional Representative Alexander Ritov conducts a workshop on digital resources for members of the Lyceum's pedagogical leadership.
- The Day of Knowledge and Education is celebrated in all programs of Shirakatsy Lyceum.

- International Baccalaureate expert and trainer Edith van der Linden is leading a course on "Strategic Planning and Leadership through Values-Based Inquiry" for the Institute's Pedagogical Leadership Fellows. At the end of the workshop, participants are given certificates.
- The Lyceum hosts the official delegation of the Ministry of Education of Uruguay, which consists of Hector Goni, director of the Department of International Relations of the National Department of Public Education of Uruguay, Aldo Rodriguez, director of the language policy department, Xavier Poladyan, director of the Armenian Nubaryan School of Montevideo, Gohar Sargsyan, representative of the AUA.
- As a result of Azerbaijan's repression, the Armenians of Artsakh leave the Motherland to their teachers. Artsakh Shirakatsy Lyceum welcomes the students and the Lyceum with open arms.
- More than 2,500 first aid kits are provided to people forcibly displaced from Artsakh, including food, economic items, medicine, clothes, heaters, kettles, blankets and other essential items, totaling more than 20 million funds for the purchase of necessary parcels.
- A charity concert is organized with the participation of the Armenian State Jazz Orchestra, collecting more than 3.4 million drams to take care of the educational needs of our Artsakh students.
- The "Colors of Hope" initiative for 2024 includes a parents' theater with two sessions and a New Year's fair. All proceeds, totaling over 1.3 million drams from the Artsakh community, will support the educational needs of the students. Additionally, calendars are being created, with sales also dedicated to meeting the educational needs of the students at Artsakh Shirakatsy Lyceum. This initiative is brought to life in collaboration with the Armenian AGBU of Sydney and Aleksandr Varzharan.
- Currently, about 150 Artsakh citizens receive free education at the Lyceum and use all services, including transportation, meals, extracurricular clubs and various visits.

- Ruzanna Yeghikyan, head of the library of the educational complex, is participating in the three-day international training course entitled "Defenders of the child's right to become a reader" at the National Children's Library named after Khnko Apor, which is conducted by researcher-lecturer Zohre Ghayen, director of the Research Institute of Children's Literature of Iran.
- The delegation of the Lyceum, the deputy directors of the Lyceum Ashkhen Tovmasyan, Ani Harutyunyan and the head of the scientific methodical center Tamar Aleksanyan are participating in the workshop entitled "Personnel policy and its impact on the development of the school" of International Baccalaureate schools of the CIS countries in Tbilisi.
- The director of the Lyceum, Ashot Alikhanyan, and the deputy director, Taguhi Sinanyan, are participating in the annual workshop of International Baccalaureate Schools in Dublin on the theme "Education for an inclusive future".
- The Lyceum's technology department participates in the "DigiTech" information technology exhibition (head of the department: Narek Tigranyan).
- Lyceum students Anahit Gyurjian and Hayk Madoyan are participating in the republican aircraft modeling competition under the title "Free Flying Models". Anahit Gyurjian takes the 1st place and Hayk Madoyan takes the 2nd place (club manager Eduard Karamyan).
- The business development manager of Geovibe Company Tigran Baghiyan is conducting a seminar-discussion on the topic "Geographic Information System in Schools" in the Lyceum.
- In YSU, in the republican indoor model airplane competition, students of the Middle school of the Lyceum demonstrate their devices, receive medals and an award. Valery Jilavyan /591 h./- 1st place, medal, Madoyan Hayk /1046 h./- 2nd place, medal, Davtyan Levon /683 h./- 3rd place, medal, Aram Martirosyan - diploma (club head: Eduard Karamyan).

- In the hall of the Union of Architects building, together with the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia and the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex, the Armen Hyusnunts Quartet's charity concert entitled "Songs without Words" is taking place, aimed at the educational needs of 160 students of the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" of Artsakh.
- As part of the university counseling program, a professional orientation seminar-discussion is being organized once again with the participation of the assistant director for admission and strategic recruitment of the Northwestern University in Qatar, Carol Ketchijyan, and Rozi Jeladyan, the university advisor of the Lyceum.
- The teaching staff of the Lyceum discusses the civic education of students in the auditorium. The guest of honor of the discussion is Artak Beglaryan, the former Minister of State of the Republic of Artsakh.
- Science Day is celebrated in the Lyceum with various events. The initiator is the chair of natural sciences, the head of which is candidate of biological sciences Narine Ksajikyan.
- A cultural event dedicated to the 120th anniversary of composer, conductor Aram Khachatryan is being organized in the Lyceum with the participation of high school students. Aram Khachatryan's friend, Nina Ilinichna, was also hosted at the Lyceum, who told interesting memories about the world-famous songwriter.
- The event dedicated to the UN World Children's Day under the title "Cooperation for a happy childhood" takes place in the Lyceum, which is attended by the representatives of the three embassies of the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Belarus.
- The football team of the Lyceum registers victories. The first tournament between the football teams of the High School and CIS Armenia, the score was 4:1 (in favor of the Lyceum students). The second tournament between the football teams of the High School and the QSI International School of Yerevan, the score was 4:0 (in favor of the Lyceum students). Third tournament between the Middle School and QSI football teams, the score was 2:0 (in favor of the Lyceum students).
- High school graduates who prepared and presented individual projects last spring are awarded certificates by the International Baccalaureate Office.

- In preparation for the Council of International Schools (CIS) assessment, the Lyceum hosts Christopher Maggio, Head of School Support Assessment of the Council of International Schools (Italy) and Andrea Bennett Cáceres, Coordinator of the IB Primary School of Sotogrande International School (Spain). The guests conduct a workshop on the last day for members of the Lyceum's pedagogical leadership.
- A delegation from Tianjin Yinhua International School of China recently visited the Lyceum on a collaborative proposal. The members of the delegation tour the educational complex meet the members of the directorate; discuss the creation and development of new ways of strong educational cooperation between the two countries and cultures.
- Like every New Year, this year the parents of Primary school students attend a festive performance. This year, the Primary school's parent theater presents itself to the community in an unprecedented format and volume. 40 parents bring to life the play entitled "My Dream World" on the stage of the Mother Lyceum in two sessions, written by Ruzan Mkrtchyan, author of the script and head of the artistic part.
