April
- The National Chemistry Olympiad of the academic year 1998-1999 is organized and held at the Lyceum.
- The National Biology Olympiad of the academic year 1998-1999 is organized and held at the Lyceum.

May
- The first National Olympiad "Constitution and Law" is organized and held in the Lyceum.
- The "Last Bell" ceremony of the seventh graduates of the Lyceum takes place in the seminary hall.

June
- Gohar Nikoghosyan, Hovhannes Khandanyan, Anna Sargsyan, Anna Ohanyan, Armen Aghuzumtsyan became gold and silver medal winners of the 1998-1999 academic year.
- Middle and Primary schools are being supplemented and completed.

September
- Graduates of the Lyceum, Armen Aghuzumtsyan and Gayane Manukyan, are admitted to Beijing University in China.
- By the decision of the RA government, the summer house "Hekiat" is allocated to the Lyceum in order to organize the study and recreation of gifted children.
- The speech therapy structure of the Lyceum begins to operate.

- Humanities student Arsen Petrosyan (teacher: Tamar Aleksanyan) wins the first place in the essay contest announced by Yerevan Municipality on the topic "This is my Yerevan", wins a travel ticket and goes on a trip to Egypt.

November
- November 11 - The theater studio of the Lyceum and the chair of literature of the Armenian language present Tamar Aleksanyan's "In the world of Tumanyan" (with opera and ballet parts), dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Hovhannes Tumanyan.
- The Lyceum is renamed "Yerevan Anania Shirakatsy Lyceum" Educational Complex CJSC.
