  • January
    • The Lyceum delegation (Head: Mariam Ohanyan and 5 students), participate in the Round Square regional student conference at Delhi College, Indore, India.
    • The Lyceum delegation, represented by Mariam Ohanyan, a biology teacher at the Lyceum, and 5 students: Lydia Sahakyan, Ruben Sahakyan, Martin Khachatryan, Hayk Aghajanyan, Hayk Sargsyan, are going to Daly College in India to participate in the "Round Square" regional conference (for middle school students) ( Young Regional RS Conference-2011).
    • The delegation of the Lyceum, represented by the director Ashot Alikhanyan and the representative of the RS, Satine Gharakeshishyan, at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, India, is participating in the AGM of South Asia & Gulf Region of the World Association of Round Square International Schools. - 2011).
  • March
    • Zaruhi Margaryan and Anna Hayrapetyan of the Lyceum pantomime studio (director: Georgi Khojoyan) students participate in the 9th "Merdzkamyan Miracle" festival of International Baccalaureate Schools of Perm (Russia) and are recognized as winners in the "Theatrical Synthesis" category.
  • April
    • Arno Babajanyan Day is organized and held at the Lyceum. In the Primary school, the chess tournament 'When the Mind Speaks' is organized and conducted. The script was written by teacher Zoya Shahnazaryan and chess teacher Nelly Pilosyan.
    • 2008 graduate Narek Dshkhunyan is admitted to the University of Massachusetts, USA.
    • The ninth traditional festival "Shirakatsy Days" is being held.
    • 11th-grade student Robert Sargsyan has been awarded the winner of the vacancy competition announced by the United World Colleges Organization for Armenian students. As a result, he has received a scholarship from the United World College of Maastricht in the Netherlands to pursue studies in the International Baccalaureate program.
    • The delegation headed by director Ashot Alikhanyan (director's adviser Nikolhos Hajian, head of the psychological center Irina Khanamiryan) is participating in the 5th "15 years IB" of the Association of International Baccalaureate Schools of the CIS countries at the conference on "modernization of education" in Moscow.
  • May
    • Lia and Vardine Sargsyan are going to Cobham Hall College in England for a one-month educational and cultural exchange program within the framework of the "Round Square" organization.
    • Lyceum students and 6 students from King's Academy in Jordan (Noor Masannat, Aakriti Raina, Sami Sawalda, Kevin Riskiawan, Johanna Lee, Halima Mohammed) participate in an online Intercultural Dialogue (Skype conference call).
  • June
    • Robert Yeghikyan, Mariam Avagyan and Lilit Grigoryan became the winners in the "Best Student of the Year" category of the RA President's annual competition in the field of IT (information technologies).
  • July
    • 6 students of the Lyceum: Vahan Kostanyan, Tigran Aslanyan, Areg Sarinyan, Hayk Harutyunyan, Hayk Shahnazaryan and Davit Shahnazaryan, are visiting the USA as part of the "YouthLab" program, as winners of the competition announced by the US State Department and PH International.
  • August
    • By the decision of the RA government (N 1080-С, 04.08.2011) the primary, middle and high schools of the Lyceum are united and reorganized as a complete educational complex.
    • The International Baccalaureate Central Office recognizes the Lyceum  Primary school as an IB candidate school.
    • The renovation works of the classrooms, bathrooms and foyer of the educational complex are starting.
  • September
    • RA Prosecutor General, member of the board of trustees of the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" Foundation Aghvan Hovsepyan visits the Lyceum and is awarded the Lyceum's medal "For Immaculate Services".
    • Famous astrophysicist, director of the laboratory of the Astrophysical Center in the Canary Islands, professor of La Laguna University, laureate of the Victor Hambardzumyan International Scientific Award, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Garik Israelyan delivers the first lecture in Armenia at the Anania Shirakatsy Lyceum and is awarded the Lyceum's "Impeccable Services" medal.
    • Arnav Sharma from Mayo College, Ajmer, India and St. Matthew Kennedy Jenje from St.Stithians Boy's College conducts an educational and cultural program at the Lyceum.
  • October
    • The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, visits the Lyceum on the occasion of Teacher's Day and is awarded with the Lyceum's "Impeccable Services" medal.
    • The Lyceum students meet with Laert (operator) and Hrachya Poghosyans (architect).
    • The Lyceum delegation, represented by director Ashot Alikhanyan, RS representative Satine Gharakeshishyan, psychologist Irina Khanamiryan and 5 students: Lilit Tonoyan, Shant Navasardyan, Taguhi Grigoryan, Anna Grigoryan, Davit Ohanyan, is going to Wellington College in London, Great Britain, to participate in " Round Square-2011" international conference (RSIC-2011). Queen Elizabeth II of England participates and speaks at the opening ceremony.
    • The Republican children's and youth theater festival "Pomegranate Seed" starts at the Lyceum, the theater studio presents the drama "For Honor" by Shirvanzade.
    • Deputy Director for International Affairs Tatevik Nalbandian is visiting the Netherlands to participate in the International Baccalaureate Africa, Middle East and Europe Regional Conference.
    • At the international environmental forum "Green Planet-2011" (Moscow), the medal of the international ecological NGO "Greenlight" is awarded to the delegation of Shirakatsy Lyceum (head: Narine Ksajkyan, student: Tatevik Mkrtchyan).
    • Lyceum students meet with Italian Ambassador to Armenia Bruno Scapini.
  • November
    • The International Baccalaureate Schools Association of the CIS countries is organizing a conference in Yerevan under the theme "Exhibition as a means of presenting the research activities of primary school students".
    • Lyceum student Mark Papazyan is going to St. Paul's Co-Educational College, Hong Kong on a one-month educational and cultural exchange program in December within the framework of the "Round Square" organization.
