  • January
    • Lyceum delegation: Anyan and RS Zmrukht Heights International School participates World Association of Schools South Asia and the Gulf at the regional conference (AGM of South Asia & Gulf Region – 2017).
    • Shield of Hovhannisyan Head of Thermodynamics and Phase Systems of Spin Network Systems "transitions" project receives a grant and G. Askarian's special of the award.
    • The "Let's support the soldier" initiative is summarized. The amount collected by the Lyceum community (730 thousand AMD) is transferred to Daniel Davtyan, the hero of the April war.
    • Teachers: Ani Papoyan (DP: literature), Mariam Ohanyan (Middle school: biology), Marine Hovsepyan (Middle school: mathematics) is selected as an international-level examining expert.
    • Kindergarten "English Kindergarten" development methodological bilingual material packages.
    • Isian participating in  St. Petersburg State Institute in the online physics olympiad, he got second place degree diploma  opportunity in other platform for next stage.
  • February
    • Director of "ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO" Mark Kalinin hands over to the kindergarten of the Lyceum the packages of methodological bilingual materials for the development of "English Nursery school" prepared within the framework of the "Eureka" project.
    • High school students Arman Tsirunyan and Samvel Hovhannisyan, participating in the online Physics Olympiad held for schoolchildren of the St. Petersburg State Institute, receive a second-class diploma and an opportunity to participate in the next stage on another platform.
    • The Lyceum hosts executive director Natalya Barinova, who came to familiarize herself with the preparations for the conference of the association of IB schools of the CIS countries. As a result of discussions, the final format of the conference, the main provisions and guarantees of organization and holding are approved.
    • Karen Krmoyan, a student of the 2nd year (12th grade) of the diploma program, is admitted to the University of Chicago (University of Chicago, USA), which is included in the list of the best ten universities in the world by the "Luys" educational council for the 2017-2018 academic years.
    • The Lyceum's team takes the second place in the "Royal Mathematicians" online international mathematics Olympiad.
    • On the initiative of the Department of Armenian Language and Literature, the Lyceum celebrates the Mother Language Day and begins the Mother Language Month.
  • March
    • Arman Hayrapetyan and Marianna Abrahamyan are elected co-chairs as a result of the election of co-chairs of the middle school student self-government council (891 group).
    • The Lyceum hosts participants of the April four-day war, servicemen from the special purpose military unit of the RA Armed Forces. The group 611 presents a matinee entitled "No one is forgotten...", dedicated to the heroes of the April four-day war (educator: Anna Sargsyan).
    • High school students are given certificates and honors for participating in the "Brainstorming" game and scientific conference during the week dedicated to the coverage of brain research organized by the YSMU Student Council.
    • Certificates of appreciation are given to high school students for volunteering during activities organized for the renovation of the lobby of the high school building.
    • Librarian Ruzanna Yeghikyan participates in the discussion of the draft of the new RA copyright law at the American University of Armenia.
  • April
    • Shirakatsy Lyceum gets a new name: "Shirakatsy Lyceum " International Scientific - Educational Complex" CJSC.
    • "Shirakatsy Days" festival opens under noisy conditions. 10th graders present research papers, individual projects. Within the framework of the "Deadly Days" festival, students of the National Academy of Sciences present the results of their two-year research work, voluminous essays.
    • Autonomy Day is starting at school. 20 12th graders teach classes in different middle school classrooms. As part of the "Deadly Days" festival, a charitable exhibition-sale of students' art and handicrafts is held in the Primary school under the title "Helping others, we help ourselves". As part of the "Deadly Days" festival, individual exhibitions of students' artworks are opened in the middle school. The results of the works submitted to the "Profile of the learner as an integral part of our daily life" competition are summarized.
    • Boys and men, congratulate girls and women on the day of motherhood and beauty.
    • The theater studio for the first time within the framework of the "Shirakatsy Days" festival presents William Saroyan's play "My heart is in the mountains" (director: Garik Ghazaryan).
    • The charity concert of the National songs of Ruzan Mkrtchyan, the artistic director of the school, takes place in the auditorium, in which the students of Primary and Middle schools participate.   All proceeds are allocated to the improvement of the conditions of the "Hekiat" camp.  geography teacher Ani Mkrtumyan in Moscow M.V. At the Lomonosov State University, he participates in the "Lomonosov-2017" international conference, presenting "The importance of the MYP (Middle Years Program of the International Baccalaureate) Interdisciplinary unit planners to heighten Geography teaching and learning process, case study A. Shirakatsy Armenian National Lyceum" report on the subject.
    • The Lyceum organizes the work of the 11th conference of the Association of International Baccalaureate Schools of the CIS countries in Yerevan. IB coordinators, teachers, psychologists and speech therapists of Educational Complex attend the conference, conducting sectional trainings.
    • At the 11th Conference of the Association of International Baccalaureate Schools of the Republic of Armenia, the theater studio of the Lyceum performs the first play with the Russian production of Anton Chekhov's play "The Proposal" (director Garik Ghazaryan).
    • Mariam Grigoryan, a 12th-grade student, receives permission to participate in the International Biology Olympiad.
    • The Lyceum delegation, represented by employee Ilona Ghasaboghlyan and 2 students, Aram Khanlar, Sedrak Yerznkyan, is going to the Indian High School in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the Dubai Model United Nations Conference.
  • May
    • The results of the 2016-2017 Republican Subject Olympiads. The Lyceum students again register a good result. Hasmik Noravyan group), Armenian language, 3rd place, Astghik Meloyan (1161, literature, 3rd place (teacher: Arsen Vardanyan), Hripsime Hakobyan, German, 1st place, Hasmik Petrosyan, German, 2nd place (teacher Lilya Ghazaryan), Maria Ayanyan, Russian language, 3rd place, Aram Karapetyan, Russian language, 3rd place, Karen Avagyan, Russian language, certificate of honor (teachers Asya Minasyan, Inna Hayrapetyan), Hayk Manucharyan, English, 1st place, Anahit Hovsepyan, English, 3rd place (teachers: Anna Petrosyan, Nairi Asrabyan), Samvel Hovhannisyan, physics, 2nd place, Arman Tsirunyan, physics, 2nd place (teacher: Vardan Melkonyan), Aneta Baloyan, biology, 2nd place, Mariam Grigoryan, biology, 2nd place (teacher: Gevorg Petrosyan), Mariam Grigoryan, chemistry, 3rd place (teacher: Zhan Gulbenkyan).
    • At the QSI International School, 3 schools (QSI, Little Prince, Shirakatsy Lyceum) hold athletics competitions of different age groups. 38 participants of the Lyceum receive medals (teachers S. Hoveyan and L. Ghazaryan).
    • "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex with the support of RA Ministry of Education and Science and Yerevan Municipality organizes and conducts the republican traditional open Olympiad for 4th-7th graders in the subjects of Armenian language, Russian language, foreign language, mathematics, natural science, history.
    • On the International Day of Telecommunications and Information Society, the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" Tech Ladies team participates in the exhibition of mobile applications created by Armenian schoolgirls organized at the UN Armenia office and takes 2nd place in the award ceremony of the winning teams.
    • The Primary School Program (PYP) Assessment Committee works in the Primary School according to a pre-arranged programme. During the visit, meetings are organized with teachers, the directorate, students, and the parent community.
    • The "Last Bell" ceremony of the 24th graduates of the Lyceum takes place in the hall of the G. Sundukyan National Theater.
    • On Thanksgiving Day, the 24th graduating class of the Lyceum extends their heartfelt thanks to the teachers, pedagogues, and service staff.
    • In the auditorium, 9th graders present their community projects.
  • June
    • The Lyceum delegation is participating in an international seminar in Tbilisi.
    • Tamara Gziryan, a teacher of Russian language and literature, participated in the 3rd International Competition "Великое русское слово" held in Crimea and received an award.
    • Artur Pozlikyan, the DP Economics teacher at the Lyceum, has been awarded a PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the International Black Sea University. This degree has been recognized as equivalent to a candidate of economics by the RA Higher Education Institution.
    • Middle school students, under the direction of Christine Hovhannisyan, participated in the dance review at the annual "Bangladesh Plein Air 2017" Festival held at the Mkhitar Sebastasi Educational Complex. They performed a Georgian dance.
    • The 24th graduation evening of the Lyceum's graduates is taking place in the "Latar" hotel complex.
    • Ten students from the Lyceum participate in the RA President's annual "Educational Award" competition in the field of IT. Three of them - Tsirunyan Arman, Elina Hovakimyan, Stepanyan Gor - are recognized as winners in the "Best Student" category.
    • The Lyceum's eight departments come up with a public end-of-year reports outlining the process of implementing International Baccalaureate requirements during the 2016-2017 academic year.
    • An external conference-seminar on the topic "Implementation of international baccalaureate requirements in the seminary" is taking place in the Alpina hotel complex of Tsaghkadzor. This conference closes the 2016-2017 "Shirakatsy Days" festival.
  • July
    • The IB office awards International Baccalaureate diplomas to all 2017 graduates of the Lyceum's diploma program. It is already the second year that the Lyceum acts as a structure providing international educational quality with a 100% index: the maximum score is 45, the minimum score is 30, and the average score is 37.
    • Certificates of the state sample are handed over to the graduates of the Lyceum in 2016-2017.
    • The artistic designer of the Lyceum, Silva Harutyunyan, participates in the 10th international competition-festival "Вместе в XXI веке" in the city of Kamchia, Bulgaria, and receives a diploma for participation.
    • A group of Lyceum students are admitted to the world's best universities and colleges with 100 percent scholarships. Karen Krmoyan: University of Chicago, Chantal al-Habib: University of Toronto, Allen Tadevosyan: De Empresa Institute, Gor Stepanyan: University of Warsaw, Gor Boyajyan: Charles University, Vahe Vardanyan: Peking University, Gayane Ghazarian: University of South Florida.
    • Narine Bilbulyan, a teacher of Russian language and literature at the Lyceum, won the 3rd place and was recognized as the best teacher of the Russian language in the Republic of Armenia in the "Best Teacher of Russian Language-2017" competition held by "ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO".
    • At the "HAPPY PLANET" international festival held in Tsaghkadzor, Lyceum students receive diplomas: Ani Mnatsakanyan (2nd place), Melissa Gevorgyan (2nd place), Anahit Arakelyan (3rd place). The author of the lyrics and music of the songs presented by students is Ruzanna Mkrtchyan, the artistic director of the Primary School of the Lyceum.
  • August
    • A memorandum of cooperation between "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex and National College of Kuwait is concluded and signed at the Ministry of Education and Science.
    • International Baccalaureate seminar leader Ghada Malouf conducts an in-school workshop for Middle school and Primary School teachers on Research-Based Learning.
  • September
    • Geography teacher Ani Mkrtumyan participates in the online project "Let's think like a scientist" organized by the International Baccalaureate.
    • Chemistry teacher of the Lyceum, candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor Sofya Aydinyan is working on a post-doctoral program at the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of the Tallinn University of Technology and teaches the subject of materials science at the same university.
    • The natural science laboratory complex, the result of close cooperation between Converse Bank and the Lyceum, is being opened under solemn conditions.
    • Independence Day is celebrated with the participation of middle and high school students of the educational complex (script and implementation: Artur Tashchyan, Anna Sargsyan).
    • For the 6th time, the Lyceum's theater troupe (director: Garik Ghazaryan) has become a "Green Planet" laureate, presenting Ostrovsky's drama "Thunder".
    • A group of Middle school students from the Lyceum is going to Georgia at the invitation of the Tbilisi New School International School to participate in the 3 schools tennis tournament. Narek Karapetyan, Armen Ghahramanyan, Melissa and Maria Gevorgyan, Arpine Tahmazyan, Marianna Abrahamyan, Arthur and Grisha Grigoryan are returning with medals, as well as the Friendship Award.
    • The Lyeum delegation represented by director Ashot Alikhanyan, RS representative Ani Yeghiazaryan and 5 students: Mikayel Zurnachyan, Mary Samsonyan, Vahe Khachatryan, Veronika Poghosyan, Aram Khanlar, is leaving for the South African Republic of St. Cyprians School opportunity to participate in "Round Square-2017" international conference (RSIC-2017).
  • October
    • English teacher Emma Revazyan participates in the one-month online training organized by the Center for International Baccalaureate Middle School Programs. Due to high performance, she is included in the evaluation team of IB interdisciplinary thematic units for the purpose of evaluating interdisciplinary thematic units.
    • Diploma program French teacher Armine Gevorgyan participates in the international teacher conference "QUDWA" (role model) in Abu Dhabi (UAE), where 50 out of 900 participants are selected as QUDWA fellows for active work, involvement and conducting seminars. One of the chosen ones is our teacher, who will participate in preparatory works and discussions of the conference in 2019.
    • Later, an International Baccalaureate conference takes place, with the Lyceum delegation participating, including Director Ashot Alikhanyan, IB Diploma Program Coordinator Anna Stepanyan, and Deputy Director of International Affairs Tatevik Nalbandyan.
  • November
    • "Pomegranate Seed" republican theater festival is starting in the Lyceum. The theater studio of the Lyceum opens the festival with William Saroyan's play "My heart is in the mountains" (director: Garik Ghazaryan).
    • The work of the student parliament begins.
    • The Lyceum hosts the delegation of school No.7 of the city of Perm, Russia, which consists of 17 students (grades VIII-XI), the school principal, the deputy principal for academic discipline and the CAS coordinator. Guests take part in the daily life of the academy: middle and high school classes, friendly volleyball and basketball games, and a performance of the anti-Cinderella fairy tale.
    • The Theory of Knowledge teacher of the diploma program, Christine Sahakyan, receives the "Outstanding Educator" award of the University of Chicago.
    • Book presentation "Historical transformations in RA 1995-2005" by Lilit Mkrtchyan, Head of the Department of Social Sciences of the Lyceum, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, is taking place in the "Narekatsi" union hall.
    • Tatevik Nalbandian, Deputy Director of International Affairs of the Lyceum, is going to Kuwait within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation with the local Armenian National College. He meets the parents of the school's students, Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kuwait Manvel Badeyan and Consul Levon Petrosyan, and also conducts seminars for the school's teachers.
  • December
    • In the high school, elections for the presidents of the student council, coordinators of extracurricular associations for the 2017-2018 year are taking place.
    • Principal Zaruhi Ghaltakhchyan and pedagogue Artur Tashchyan hand over volunteer passports to the students on the occasion of the volunteering day at the high school.
    • In the competition of environmental posters jointly organized by the RA Ministry of Nature Protection and the Union of Artists of Armenia, Lyceum designer Silva Harutyunyan won the 2nd place.
    • Students of high and middle schools meet with Andrey Pyatakhin, head of "Beeline" company.
    • The Lyceum team participates in the international science Olympiad under the title "Journey in the world of natural sciences" and wins the 3rd class award. The team included Seda Babakhanyan (DP), Armine Karapetyan (DP), Petrosyan Hasmik (12th grade), Madlena Makaryan (12th grade), Tsirunyan Vahagn (11th grade).
    • The theater studio of the Lyceum staged Al. Veselov's work "The Sun and the Snowmen" is a performance for the Primary school audience as a New Year's gift.
    • On the initiative of the Lyceum Development Fund, the "Library Reconstruction Project" is launched, accompanied by a New Year's exhibition-fair.
