January
- For the 7th time, the theater studio of the Lyceum has become a laureate of the "Green Planet" international forum for the staging of the play "My heart is in the mountains" by William Saroyan (director: Garik Ghazaryan).
- At the Institute of Chemical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, the group of students led by Sofya Aydinyan, a teacher of chemistry at the Lyceum, candidate of chemical sciences, won a prize in the innovation competition of the ARPA Institute.
- The Lyceum celebrates the New Year at the "African House" restaurant.

February
- Within the framework of the "STARTER tech Advanced Spring 2018" startup program held in Tallinn, the research group led by Sofya Aydinyan, chemistry teacher of the Lyceum, candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor, is one of the winners. It is recognized for presenting the topic "Biological fuel as an energy source" as a business project.
- Colonel General Movses Hranti Hakobyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, visits the Lyceum, learns about the life of the Lyceum, and participates in the festive ceremony.
- The Lyceum development fund organizes a charity dinner at the Armenia Marriott Hotel on the occasion of the Carnival holiday, the proceeds of which are provided to the Lyceum library construction fund. The theater studio of the Lyceum performs Hovh. Tumanyan's "Carnival" fairy tale staging (director: Garik Ghazaryan).

- The Departments of Art and Foreign Languages organize and implement multi-disciplinary events dedicated to the Francophonie Day (coordinator: Tatevik Nalbandian, Deputy Director of international affairs of the educational complex).
- Choir and French group students announce the opening of an exhibition of works made with the Grattage technique.
- Diploma Program pedagogue Artur Tashchyan and a group of students are going to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, to participate in a community service (CAS) visit and exchange experience.
- The students of the high school meet with the general-major of the rescue service, journalist Nikolay Grigoryan in the regular lesson.
- A seminar sponsored by the IB Office is being conducted for Lyceum teachers on "Learning Approaches and Capacity Building", facilitated by Chris Wright.
- The delegation of the Lyceum goes to Artsakh, where master classes of singing, French, fine arts and pantomime are held.
- Armine Gevorgyan, a French teacher at the Lyceum, conducts training courses with French teachers in Stepanakert, Artsakh, during the Francophonie festival.

- French teacher Armine Gevorgyan, as a graduate of the "Teach Armenia" program, participates in Vienna (Austria) as an organizer and board member in the first forum of graduates of the European region "Education for All" (Teach for All).
- The review of the individual projects of the 10th graders of the 2017-2018 school year is held under solemn conditions.
- The series of celebrations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia and the May Heroic Wars begins. Armenian National Hero Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan (Commando), Lieutenant Colonel Anahit Martirosyan, head of the "Vardanak" military patriotic club Satenik Vardanyan and Ruzanna Krpeyan (sister of Armenian National Hero Tatul Krpeyan) visit the Lyceum.
- The closing of "Days of Francophonie" takes place. The choir (director: Narine Davtyan) performs in the outdoor part of the middle school hall, the exhibition of students' painting works opens (directors: Araks and Sose Ananyan), and the pantomime studio presents "The Red Hat" (director: Ilona Ghasaboghlyan).
- Lilit Mkrtchyan, Head of the Social Sciences department of the Lyceum, Ph.D., associate professor, at the invitation of the University of Tampere, Finland, is giving a series of lectures on "Education and Peace: The Role of Teaching about Genocide in the Process of Peace-Making" for students and teaching staff.
- The delegation of the Lyceum (director of the educational complex Ashot Alikhanyan and history teacher Kristine Sahakyan) is participating in the 12th annual conference of the CIS countries IB schools under the title "IB schools in a constantly changing world" in Sochi. Christine Sahakyan gives a speech at the conference and presents the teaching features of the subject "Theory of Cognition" in the Diploma Program of the Lyceum.
- The Lyceum team under the leadership of geography teacher Tehmine Tonoyan participates in the summary of the "Clean Water" project.

- The results of the Republican subject Olympiads are summarized. The following students won and received diplomas in the Olympiads: Martirosyan Tsovinar (Armenian language, 3rd grade), Hayrapetyan Mane (English, 1st grade), Hakobyan Hripsime (German, 1st grade).
- French language teacher Armine Gevorgyan participates in the global forum of teachers from 48 countries of the "Teach for All" network in London, presents the educational system of Armenia and conducts a seminar.
- As part of the Primary School's 20th anniversary, a charity exhibition-sale of students' artistic and handiwork is being held under the title "Helping others, we help ourselves".
- S. Petersburg "Explosive production of new materials. At the 14th international conference "science, technology, business and innovation", the presentation of Sofya Aydinyan, a chemistry teacher at the Lyceum, candidate of chemical sciences, received a special award.
- The Primary School community is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Primary School.
- The designer of the Lyceum, Silva Harutyunyan, received a certificate of appreciation for the significant artistic contribution to the "Мосты Народной Дружбы" project of the Days of Armenian Culture in Yugra.
- The "Last Bell" ceremony of the 25th graduates of the Lyceum is taking place.
- 9th graders present their community projects.
- The 20th anniversary of the foundation of the Primary School is celebrated with great pomp. The students are welcomed by all the principals of the Primary School: Tatevik Vatyan (first principal), Zaruhi Ghaltakhchyan, Tatevik Nalbandian, Irina Khanamiryan, Gagik Torchyan, Ani Harutyunyan, Gayane Grigoryan.

- High school students Vahagn Tsirunyan and Hrayr Azizyan became the winners of the 2018 RA President's Educational Award.
- In the 13th Pushkin International Competition, the Russian language teacher of the Lyceum, Marina Kocharyan, wins and is awarded the title of laureate.
- Vahan Hovhannisyan, a Physics teacher of the Diploma Program, candidate of physical sciences, participates in the conference entitled "Advanced Workshop on Nonequilibrium Systems in Physics, Geosciences, and Life Sciences" at the International Center for Theoretical Physics, in Trieste (Italy).
- On the initiative of the scientific methodical center and the Department of Armenian language and literature, the first gathering of Armenian language and literature specialists of the republic and Artsakh is taking place in the conference hall of the Lyceum in order to raise the problems of teaching Armenian language and literature in the educational institutions of the republic and to present them to the Ministry of Education in the near future.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Program students Vigen Yavryan, Mary Potikyan, and Hripsime Hakobyan are spending two weeks in the United States this summer on a competitive academic summer program at the world-renowned Yale University with 83%, 92%, and 50% scholarships, respectively.
- The teaching staff of the Primary School rests and works in Tsaghkadzor's House of Writers.
- The graduation evening of the 25th graduates of the Lyceum is taking place in the "Latar" restaurant complex.

- A large group of Middle and High school teachers, educators, inspectors participate in the three-day collaboration at the Tsaghkadzor Writers' House, the action plan of the educational complex is drawn up, horizontal planning of the research is developed, the issue of evaluation of students studying in the National Program of the High School is discussed.
- Graduation certificates are awarded to the 25th graduates of the Lyceum.
- Students in the Diploma Program receive external assessment results from the IB office. 11 out of 12 students receive IB certificates.
- A seminar "Let's learn together, learn from each other" is held in the Lyceum.
- With the inscription: for specialists of humanitarian subjects of the republic and Artsakh. The seminar is conducted by Seda Kocharyan, an international expert in IB, teacher training trainer (coordinator of the IB Diploma Program of 1306 school, Moscow).
- Geography teacher Ani Mkrtumyan participates in the National Geographic September "Connecting the Geo-inquiry Process into your teaching practice" training program, receiving a certificate of participation.

- French teacher Armine Gevorgyan coordinates the educational part of the "Walk to Home" program in Yerevan. This organizes the work of teaching teachers, development of language programs.
- The University of California, Berkeley, USA invites the Lyceum graduate Rozalina Karapetyan to study at the Faculty of Science and Letters.
- French teacher Armine Gevorgyan in Rihad (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) participates in the Khebrah(experience) educational forum held for the first time by the SAT Ministry of Education, within the framework of which, together with 76 other teachers of the "Teach For All" network, presents skills for 700 SAT teachers.
- On September 3, the teacher of Economics of the State Academy of Sciences, Artur Pozlikyan, participates in the "Global Shaping" annual conference of the World Economic Forum.

- Physics teacher, candidate of Physical sciences Vahan Hovhannisyan participates in the "Competition of scientific topics for the purpose of contractual (thematic) financing of scientific and technical activities-2018" competition of the State Committee of Science of the RA Ministry of Education and Science and presents a scientific article on "Magnetic platforms, thermal entanglement, phase transitions in low-dimensional spin systems" and wins.
- The teacher of economics of the Lyceum, candidate of economics (PHD) Artur Pozlikyan receives the "Young Generation" award from the Association of Financial Inclusion (AFI).
- Hratsin Poghosyan, an English teacher of the Diploma Program, received the "Best Teacher" nomination of the University of Chicago at the suggestion of his student Davit Musayelyan.
- The designer of the Lyceum, Silva Harutyunyan, received a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Culture of Khanty-Mansiysk for his active social activities aimed at strengthening international relations in the field of literature and culture.
- A group of students and teachers of the Lyceum led by the Director Ashot Alikhanyan visited the Shirak school with the aim of cleaning the area.
- Russian language and literature teacher Marina Kocharyan participates in the summary works of the Pushkin contest in Moscow and receives a laureate certificate.
- For the 7th year in a row, the theater studio of the Lyceum (director: Garik Ghazaryan) has been awarded the laureate title at the "Green Planet" international forum in Moscow. This year's victory was registered with William Saroyan's play "My heart is in the mountains".
- RA Minister of Education and Science Araik Harutyunyan visits Shirakatsy Lyceum.
- Anahit Arakelyan (351 class), Ani Mnatsakanyan (722 class) and Melissa Gevorgyan (723 class), students of the head of the artistic part of the Lyceum, songwriter Ruzan Mkrtchyan, are participating in Armenia's "Toward" Children's Eurovision 2018" project.
- Anahit Arakelyan and Ani Mnatsakanyan pass to the final stage and receive high praise from the international committee and the audience on the live broadcast of H1.
- High school students meet with politician Ashot Manucharyan.
- The ninth-grade students of 5 public schools study solar energy storage technology with their Physics teachers in the Lyceum under the leadership of Physics teacher Edward Martirosyan. The RA employers' union donated the solar energy device to the Lyceum with the funds of the Beeline company.
- Acts as a speaker at the World Conference on "How to effectively adapt to the changing financial world of the 21st century" in Moscow.
- The Lyceum delegation, represented by Director Ashot Alikhanyan, RS representative Ilona Hovasapyan and 5 students: Susanna Sandoyan, Ani Torosyan, Nare Baghdasaryan, Ella Khachatryan, Liliana Abrahamyan, is going to Canada, to Ashbury College in Ottawa, to participate in the international "Round Square-2018" conference (RSIC-2018).
- Within the framework of the "Green Initiatives" campaign organized by the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia and the United Nations, the designer of the Lyceum, Silva Harutyunyan, was included among the top 15 authors in the environmental poster competition.
- Students of the subject group "Experimental Sciences" of the Diploma Program are conducting research work within the framework of the Metsamor settlement, studying the impact of the nuclear power plant on the environment.
- The students of the Academy's pantomime studio: Arsen Mukanyan, Gohar Avetisyan, Tigran Zurnachyan, Arine Khanlari, Vahe Jraghatspanyan and director Ilona Hovasapyan are awarded the laureate at the Moscow "Green Planet" ("Зеленая плена 2018") international forum based on the production of Sh. Perot's "Red Hat" title.

- Physics teacher, Ph.D. Vahan Hovhannisyan wins the awarding competition for high-performance young researchers (up to 35 years old) included in the programs and topics of scientific and scientific-technical activities carried out at the expense of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia.
- The 2nd issue of the scientific-methodical journal "Perspective" is published. Scientific and methodical articles of Lyceum employees are included in the journal, which have trilingual: Armenian, Russian, and English abstracts.
- Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of Beeline Company, and Gagik Makaryan, President of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia, visit the Lyceum in order to observe the use of the solar energy device.
- The world conference of the International Baccalaureate under the title "Creativity, Innovation" is taking place in Vienna, in which the Shirakatsy Lyceum also participates, represented by the Director of the educational complex Ashot Alikhanyan, the director of the middle school Tatevik Arzumanyan and the coordinator of the IB Diploma Program Anna Stepanyan.
- Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Ph.D., Associate Professor Lilit Mkrtchyan, at the invitation of the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, participates in the workshop "The University Question in Caucasia of the 19th century until the Foundation of the First Universities", presents "The Founding of the Yerevan University" with a report.
- The Primary school celebrates the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan with great pomp. Songs dedicated to Yerevan are played, students show paintings of their favorite places and streets of the capital.
- Elina Shakaryan, head of the department of foreign languages, candidate of philological sciences, participates in the pedagogical workshop in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, and presents a report on the topic "Development of critical and creative thinking in Russian language classes".
- With the efforts of the "Lyceum Development Fund", the scientific library of the Lyceum is opened under solemn conditions.
- The Lyceum is hosting representatives from universities in Italy (Ca'Foscari in Venice) and Greece (BA programs at City College International Faculty, University of Sheffield) to discuss upcoming collaborations and student admissions.
- As a member and consultant of the IB education sector network, Deputy Director of the Lyceum for international affairs, senior school director Tatevik Nalbandyan participates in the assessment work of the junior level of the Lomonosov private school in Nizhny Novgorod.
- On the occasion of Khachator Abovyan's birthday, the theater studio of the Lyceum (director: Garik Ghazaryan) performed the works of the writer in the house-museum of the writer and received an honorary certificate of the house-museum.
- Mathematics teacher Nare Ghazaryan presents a report at the 6th International Conference "Mathematical Education", "ITs as a factor of manifestation of the external aesthetics of mathematical material", which is printed in the collection of conference materials.
- Students of the Lyceum Hrayr Azizyan and Vahagn Tsirunyan are recognized as winners in the "Best student" category of the RA state educational awards in the field of IT. Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hands over the awards to the students during a solemn ceremony at the RA Prime Minister's residence.
- Librarian Ruzanna Yeghikyan V. Participates in the seminar on "Mapping of Publicly Available Knowledge" at the Brusov YSU Library.
- On the initiative of the language and literature club (head: M.Sc., associate professor Tamar Aleksanyan), students and teachers of the Lyceum's psychology center (head: Ani Harutyunyan) discuss the work of Daniel Keys "Flowers for Algernon" in the library.
- Employee of the Department of Social Sciences, Social Studies teacher Ph.D. Gayane Vardanyan is participating in the World Learning international organization seminar "Media Literacy and Critical Thinking in the Digital World" in Kyiv, in which 42 representatives from 25 European countries are participating.
- The Director of the educational complex, Ashot Alikhanyan, is going to the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, by special invitation, to participate in the international conference entitled "New Generation School" organized by "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools".
- Librarian Ruzanna Yeghikyan participates in the discussion organized by the initiative of the Science and Technology Library of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center on the topic of "Libraries in the digital environment as an effective platform for cooperation".

- Mathematics teacher Nare Ghazaryan is integrated in the working group of the "Financial Education at School" program (2018-2021) as a training lecturer.
- The last stage of the seminar of the scientific-methodical center of the Lyceum and the Association of Young Historians NGO under the title "Let's learn together, learn from each other" is taking place in the conference hall of the Lyceum. A group of teachers from Artsakh, Sevan, Yerevan public schools, universities, as well as Lyceum students present their lessons as a reaction to what they taught in the two-day summer course. Active participants receive certificates.
- Candidate of historical sciences, teacher Ashkhen Grigoryan conducts a seminar on "Methods and Approaches to Teaching the History of the Armenian Church" for teachers of the history of the Armenian Church at the request of the Christian Education Center of the Mother See in Abovyan City No. 1 High School.
- A concert of dance ensembles dedicated to the 2800-year-old capital of Yerevan is taking place on the stage of the theater named after G. Sundukyan. The dance group of the Lyceum also participates in the holiday concert (leader: dance teacher Kristine Hovhannisyan). Kristine Hovhannisyan and her students receive a certificate of honor and letters of gratitude.
- The Lyceum is hosting a group of Czech teachers as part of the experience exchange program implemented jointly with the Young Women's Association of Armenia and the National Institute of Further Education under the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic.
- As part of professional orientation meetings, the Lyceum high school hosts representatives of RUSSODRUNICHESTVO, which presents exclusive scholarship opportunities at the best Russian universities.
- Varuzhan Nersesyan, who was appointed as the RA ambassador to the USA, is making a farewell visit to Shirakatsy Lyceum as a parent. "I am very grateful to the Shirakatsy educational complex for giving my children Armenian education and upbringing," says the ambassador.
- At the initiative of the Department of Healthy Lifestyle and Physical culture, within the framework of ROUND SQUARE's idea of "Unity of mind and body, courage", a selected group of 7th grade middle school students visited the Academy of the Football Federation of Armenia, got acquainted with the training conditions and sports structures of the teams.
- Lilit Mkrtchyan, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, is invited by the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation as an Armenian expert to the three-day seminars "Political Leadership for Women" and "Women in a Changing World. Conducts a seminar on "Challenges and Opportunities".
- Gagik Ghalachyan, who was appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of RA in Kazakhstan, as a Lyceum parent, comes to the Lyceum on a farewell visit before leaving and taking office.
- The Lyceum is hosting guests from Spain, Maria Calsamilgia and Laya Peman, who are conducting research in International Baccalaureate schools around the world on the issue of non-cognitive skills development. The Lyceum is of interest to Newers as an educational institution that implements three IB programs.
- On the initiative of the Department of Healthy Lifestyle and Physical culture, within the framework of ROUND SQUARE's idea "Unity of mind and body, courage", the 9th graders of middle school visit the RA Ministry of Defense and get acquainted with the sports facilities of the ministry. Lieutenant Colonel A. Davtyan talks about the achievements of military athletes. Football and basketball tournaments are held between our students and soldiers.
- On the initiative of the Department of Armenian Language and Literature (Head: M.Sc., Associate Professor Tamar Aleksanyan), a group of Lyceum teachers and students discuss the novel "Khatutiki's Wine" by the American writer Ray Bradbury. The translator, prominent philologist and film scholar Zaven Boyajyan, also participates in the discussion.

- Geography teacher Ani Mkrtumyan received an international certification certificate as a result of participating in online courses organized by "National Geographic Educator Certification".
- History teacher, Ph.D. Ashkhen Grigoryan participates in the "Fundamentals of Intercultural Communication" series of training courses.
- A group of students and teachers of the Diploma Program (Artur Tashchyan, Artur Pochlikyan) within the framework of extracurricular unit (CAS) creativity, physical activity, service visit the border village of Bazhruni in Vayotsdzor province and donate musical instruments and stage equipment to the school with the money they collected.
- History teacher, Ph.D. Ashkhen Grigoryan participates in the 4th Youth Conference at the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran, giving a presentation entitled "Evagr Pontatsi and Armenian bibliography".
- On the 30th anniversary of the victims of the Spitak earthquake, a teleconference is being held between the students of Shirakatsy Lyceum and SPRINGDALES New Dehli School, India, at the initiative of RA Ambassador to India Armen Martirosyan.
- In 1988, this International Baccalaureate School of India organized a fundraiser to help victims of the Spitak earthquake.
- Lilit Mkrtchyan, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, participates in the "Policy Evaluation" workshop organized jointly with the EvalYouth ECA regional initiative of the Institute of Youth Studies, the Armenian Association for Monitoring and Evaluation, with the funds of the United Nations Population Fund.
- Lilit Mkrtchyan, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, is participating in the third international workshop dedicated to the prevention of Genocide at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Under the leadership of geography teacher Ruzanna Saribekyan, Middle School students participate in. "White Earthquake" organized at Karapetyan Geological Museum. 30 years later experience and perspectives" competition-event.
- Students of the Diploma Program conduct a combined literature class "Role of language in translated literature". Students translated Paruyr Sevak's works from Armenian to English (teachers Ani Papoyan, Roza Jeladyan).
- The Department of Social Sciences together with the International School 1306 in Moscow is holding a remote student workshop under the title "Education and Peace". The purpose of the workshop is to address the process of building peace through education and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the World Bank.
- The director of the educational complex, Ashot Alikhanyan, will receive a special invitation from the government of Kazakhstan to participate in the 20th anniversary celebration of the Nazarbayev Educational Foundation, and is going to Alma Ata to participate in the jubilee celebrations.
- Geography teacher Ani Mkrtumyan was awarded an Erasmus+ scholarship and acquired the right to study and conduct research at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU-University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna) for six months.
- The theater studio of the Lyceum presents the works of M. Davtyan, L. Apoyan, O. Danielyan, Z. Ananyan, (the authors are students of the theater troupe) "Heroes of Tales in Yerevan" New Year's performance for Primary school students (director: Garik Ghazaryan).
- RA Ambassador to India Armen Martirosyanev and Consul Gevorg Hakhverdyan visit the Lyceum to get acquainted with the educational activities and to discuss issues of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects. On the initiative of the ambassador, a remote conference was already held between the Lyceum and the students of the SPRINGDALES New Dehli school in India on December 7.
- The new year is celebrated in the banquet hall. The director of the educational complex awards 20 employees of the Lyceum with the medal "For impeccable services".
