  • January
    • Under the guidance of history teacher Lusine Antonyan, 12 students of the Lyceum participate in the Internet program "Out of Eden Walk" created by "National Geographic" organization of Harvard University.
    • Arpi Balyan conducts a 9-hour seminar in the framework of the cooperation between the American University and the Lyceum in Armenia in order to bring the teaching of English to a new qualitative level.
    • High School International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Coordinator Diana Grigoryan is participating in a training course for coordinators in Amsterdam.
    • 12th grade student Gevorg Petrosyan (teacher: Armine Petrosyan) participates in the preliminary stage of the online tele-Olympiad of Perm State National Research University "Young Talents".
  • February
    • The delegation of the Lyceum, represented by the director Ashot Alikhanyan and the representative of the RS, Satine Gharakeshishyan, at Vivek High School, Chandigarh, India, participates in the AGM of South Asia & Gulf Region of the World Association of Round Square International Schools. - 2014).
    • On the occasion of the "Before God" holiday, the students of the studio led by pedagogue Susanna Stepanyan present their miniatures in the foyer of the middle school of the Lyceum. 9th grade students Erik Ananyan and Alina Vardanyan are elected co-chairs of the student self-government council of the middle school of the Lyceum.
    • The Committee of Armenian Language and Literature participates in the reading of the Bashkir epic "Ural Batir" in different languages, announced as part of UNESCO's "Education for the Future" project. Armenian language and literature teacher Samvel Yolchyan translates the 3rd Armenian chapter of the Bashkir epic, 12th grade student Lia Shahnazaryan takes part in the reading of a section from the epic.
    • The Lyceum celebrates Mother Language Day with great pomp. Classes dedicated to the native language and literature are held, and the "Language Marathon" competition is held in the banquet hall.
  • March
    • Lida Baklachyan, head of the mathematics committee of the Lyceum, participates in the "Mathematics; to the remote training on the introduction of the Middle school (MYP) program” organized by the IB office.
    • Tamar Aleksanyan, Deputy Director of the Lyceum, head of the Armenian language and literature committee, participates in "Language and literature" organized by the IB office. 6-week long-distance training on the topic "The implementation of the MYP program".
    • History teacher Armine Narimanyan participates in the 16-hour distance seminars of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (World History).
    • Director Ashot Alikhanyan and Rector of the French University in Armenia Jean-Jacques Montois sign a memorandum of cooperation between the two educational institutions during the latter's visit to the Lyceum.
    • The renovated sink unit next to the canteen is starting to work.
    • The information technology training center is starting to operate.
    • On the initiative of "Rossotrudnichestvo", Elina Shakaryan, head of the Russian language and literature department of the Lyceum, conducts a master class in the 11th grade of Hambardzum Galstyan high school in Yerevan, which is attended by one and a half dozen Russian language teachers from a number of schools in the capital.
    • A contract for the provision of services for using the interlibrary section (on the subscription basis) is signed with the National Library of Armenia.
    • An indefinite contract for the provision of services to use the interlibrary section is signed with the basic scientific library of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
    • The students of Shirakatsy Lyceum participate in the YSU Olympiad, obtaining two first-class, three second-class, and eight third-class diplomas and four letters of commendation.
  • April
    • On World Sports Day, within the framework of "Round Square", there is a TV bridge between the 774 group of the Lyceum named after Anania Shirakatsy and the students of the "New England" female school in Armidale, Australia, during which the students talk not only about football, but also about Armenian culture and national cuisine.
    • The second review of the International Baccalaureate Primary School Program is taking place on the interdisciplinary theme "The Planet is Our Common Home".
    • The Lyceum delegation (director Ashot Alikhanyan, IB coordinators Diana Grigoryan, Astghik Balayan, teacher Zoya Shahnazaryan) participates in the VIII annual conference of the Association of International Baccalaureate Schools of the CIS countries.
  • May
    • 1. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the armistice, the 11th grade student Anna Nazaryan took the second place in the republican essay competition "If you want peace, prepare for war".
    • 2. American http: //www.girlswritehere.com is posting the winning essay of the 11th grade student Anna Nazaryan entitled "Everybody saw the rain".
    • 3. Anna Nazaryan, a 12th-grade student, is recognized as the winner of the international essay competition organized by the "Emma Willard" girls' school in New York on the topic "The moment when you consider yourself alive".
    • An exhibition-sale of Primary high school students' art works is taking place in Hovhannes Tumanyan's House-Museum in Yerevan. Proceeds go to charity.
    • Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Armenia John Heffern visits the Lyceum.
    • During the visit to the Primary school, the ambassador participates in the charity exhibition-sale, buys 2 paintings.
    • The dance festival, which has already become a tradition, is being held - the unique report of the Lyceum choreographer Kristine Hovhannisyan.
    • The "Last Bell" ceremony of the twenty-first graduates of the Lyceum is held at the Russian Drama Theater named after Stanislavsky.
    • A seminar entitled "Copyright and the educational process" is being organized. Speaker: Kristine Hambaryan. Head of the Copyright and Related Rights Department of the RA Intellectual Property Agency.
  • June
    • Armenian language and literature teacher Ani Papoyan participates in distance seminars of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (language and literature, literature).
    • 12th grade students Lilit Khalapyan ("When all doors are closed") and Gohar Aleksanyan ("Bermudas") won the "Ulysses-3" story contest announced by the "School" blog. Lilit Khalapyan receives the main prize, the novel "Ulysses" by James Joyce, translated into Armenian.
    • The banner of the 21st Shirakatsy Days festival with the motto "Think, strive, conquer" is being lowered. During the closing ceremony, the theater studio of the Lyceum presents the comedy "Thas" by Denis Fonvizin.
    • The committee of the Lyceum is going to Artsakh.
    • The high school is certified by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP).
  • July
    • The traditional "Graduate Day" is celebrated.
    • Ashkhen Grigoryan, a teacher at the Department of History, defends a scientific thesis on "Evagr Pontatsi in Armenian bibliography" and becomes a candidate of historical sciences.
  • September
    • A new history students’ book is being published, one of the authors of which is the Lyceum's history teacher Armine Narimanyan.
    • As part of the celebrations dedicated to the 23rd year of the Third Republic of Armenia, the Lyceum hosts the recognized military diplomat, Major General Hayk Kotanjyan.
    • The director of the Lyceum, Ashot Alikhanyan, and the director of the "Ucom" company officially open the gift of the "Ucom" company, the conference-hall equipped with modern equipment, the "Ucom auditorium".
    • The Lyceum hosts the students of Moscow school N.1557 and the founding director of the museum of that school is Karina Akvazem.
    • The exhibition "Our World: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the founding of the Third Republic of Armenia is being held, where more than 60 paintings from the museum collection of the Moscow College N.1557, as well as more than 20 works of the students of the Shirakatsy Lyceum, are presented.
    • The official opening of the exhibition "Our World: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" takes place, which is also attended by the director of Anania Shirakatsy Lyceum Ashot Alikhanyan and the head of the delegation of Moscow school N.1557 Karina Akvazem.
    • An agreement is signed on the membership of the Consortium of Electronic Libraries of Armenia and the procedure for using resources.
    • The Lyceum delegation, represented by director Ashot Alikhanyan, RS representative Ilona Ghasaboghlyan and 2 students, Karen Krmoyan, Nare Sargsyan, is going to The Sanskaar Valley School in Bhopal, India to participate in the "Round Square-2014" international conference (RSIC-2014).
  • October
    • The Lyceum is organizing the first exhibition of paintings by Noah Stepanyan, a student of the renowned artist Samvel Sevada, who is also in the 10th grade at the Lyceum.
    • The Lyceum hosts the International Baccalaureate Middle School (MYP) Accreditation Committee; an assessment of the educational activity of the middle school is being carried out.
    • Grigor Sevumyan (12th grade) and Diana Avetova (11th grade) are elected co-chairs of the student council of the Lyceum high school.
    • An exhibition of photos of Rafik Arayan (12th grade) is organized in the Lyceum.
    • As part of the events commemorating the 2796th anniversary of the capital Yerevan, the Lyceum named after Anania Shirakatsy presents the works of fine arts teacher Susanna Stepanyan and her students, along with those of library manager Ruzanna Yeghikyan, at the Fritjof Nansen Park in Nor Nork.
    • The Lyceum participates in the UNESCO IITE-2014 (Institute for Information Technologies in Education) conference held in Moscow as one of the associated schools of UNESCO. Arsen Vardanyan, a teacher of Armenian language and literature, presents the experience of the seminary about the effectiveness of the use of information technology in education. During this conference, the Lyceum receives a certificate of participation.
    • Students Gayane Vardanyan and Hayk Navasardyan have been recognized as the winners of the RA President's annual award competition in the field of IT (information technology), specifically in the "Best Student of the Year" category.
    • Chemistry teacher of the Lyceum, candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor Zhan Gulbenkyan gives a presentation on the topic "Development of students' logical thinking while solving complex problems" at the 1st Republican Conference of Chemistry Teachers of RA High Schools.
    • The republican workshop "Prospects of Elementary School Development in the 21st Century" is being held in the Lyceum together with ASPU named after Kh. Abovyan. The results of the workshop are published in the form of theses in a separate collection (collection of theses of the workshop "PROSPECTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT IN THE 21ST CENTURY" (October 24, 2014, Yerevan, Yerevan, Mankavarzh, 2014, 120 pages).
    • The 14th Republican Children's and Youth Theater Festival "Pomegranate Seed" with the motto "Theatre is our home" is being held in Shirakatsy Lyceum, in which 20 school theater groups from different regions of the country participate. The theater studio of the seminary is directed by D. Fonvizin's work "Thas" (director: Garik Ghazaryan).
    • The first CAS program of International Baccalaureate Schools of the CIS countries is being implemented.
  • November
    • Middle School of  the Lyceum named after Anania Shirakatsy is certified to implement the International Baccalaureate Middle School Program (IB MYP).
    • Middle school students meet composer Stepan Shakaryan.
    • On the initiative of the Department of Armenian language and literature, the Lyceum hosts writer-freedom fighter Hovik Vardumyan.
  • December
    • Elina Shakaryan, head of the Russian language department, defends her PhD thesis on the topic "The order of comparisons in Russian" and receives the scientific degree of candidate of philological sciences.
    • The team of the Lyceum takes the first place in the international remote chemistry competition announced for schools of the CIS countries, held in English (leader: chemistry teacher, candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor Zhan Gulbenkyan, the competition is conducted by doctor of chemical sciences, professor Hambardzum Khachatryan).
